I Have played guitar for a long time! I spent most of my time
as a musician playing guitar for other musicians with their
material, never pursuing or seeming to have time to pursue what I
really wanted to do which was to get back to my roots, playing blues
in the style that I now do. At last! This is a beginning! Gear wise;
Fender Strat, More Strat and yet more Strat love them! All the
sounds you could ever wish for, it breathes! A lot of folk ask : "Do
you use the wammy bar for vibrato.. ? " NO ! never. ,.. its a
standard trem.. .. it sits flat on the body, with tight springs so
it only go's down ! I may use it to wobble a 9th chord at the end of
a song , but thats it. ! Bless it ! Marshall Amp with 6L6 valves,
JMP , Tube Screamer, Jim Dunlop crybaby wah. Thats it!.......oh
Alesis Quadraverb. I play all guitars on the tracks . all are
unedited ,"live" as it were, to keep the feel of a live sound and
performance, except "Hypnohop, which was produced by Ed Poole and
myself , and ..Late Train. "Texas Flood" (Scott/Davis) from the
album of the same name,(copyright SRV 83) is a tribute to Stevie and
Double Trouble. I am currently writing new material for a blues soul
album, so thats about it ! a new track or two will be added as soon
as. I dont spend as much time on line as I would like so I apologise
if I dont get back to you ,however, I will always reply / return
comments to all. Late Train ..( Slater 08)/ produced by Ed Poole,
who plays bass, keys, drums, . A little instrumental, while Im doing
other stuff. hope you..ll enjoy. The new track "1973" also produced
by Ed and plays bass/keys/drums etc. |
